DateAGolfer.com is an online golf community developed specifically to help people expand their golf network. DateAGolfer.com is more than just dating, offering members an opportunity to share their passion for golf. DateAGolfer.com was created by friends and colleagues, Gary Kelly and Mike Wyman. They decided to combine their passion for golf, computers, and business networking. Discussing Gary's recent marital separation, the friends wondered how to meet interesting people other than through the traditional bar scene. After scouring the internet and reviewing many dating websites, the business partners realized that the majority of sites were lacking in their search capability and website functionality. Their research, combined with a pre-launch survey of potential members has confirmed that 66% of people are in fact disappointed with online dating websites. Based on this feedback, DateAGolfer.com has been designed with the needs of the golfing community in mind. Based in Halifax Nova Scotia, home of the LPGA's 2005 Canadian Women's Open, DateAGolfer.com is owned by Mike Wyman and Gary Kelly. Originally from Nova Scotia, Mike obtained his pharmacy degree from Dalhousie University. Gary moved to Nova Scotia from Newfoundland and Labrador six years ago. He has an economics degree from Memorial University. The partners have a combined total of 28 years of sales experience and providing outstanding customer service.
