In contemplating the attraction of Greek culture in today's world, the GreekFriends.com founders discovered that they were in the midst of a culture in retreat, whose appeal and presence in an English-speaking world has become negligible. Although there is a desire to maintain our heritage, what is missing is a global strategy designed to maintain our culture in a vastly fragmented and ever-changing world. Our mission and purpose is to bring together Greek people locally and around the world, to penetrate our collective consciousness, and to strengthen the sense of the importance and significance of our culture, beliefs, and values.
