Smart Dating UK is based in Cheltenham and was launched in March 2003 by four 'thirty-somethings', who were disillusioned with the single scene. Between us we had tried most forms of dating and, although we have met some lovely people, we found most dating methods to be costly, time consuming - and we still hadn't met that special person. We certainly hadn't found anything that we could say was enjoyable! We looked at speed dating, but it was not being offered in our area. It seemed obvious to do it ourselves - and Smart Dating UK was launched! After taking part in a number of speed dating events ourselves we can categorically say that this is certainly the most efficient and cost effective way of meeting new people - and it's fun. Typically, you can meet up to 20 professional single people, in a safe and secure environment in just a few hours. If you've got a busy lifestyle, it's ideal and we've met lots of people who have found it the answer to their dating dilemmas. As part of our nationwide campaign and on an on-going basis, Smart Dating UK will be working in partnership with the NSPCC and are delighted to be donating 5% of every booking we receive to help to keep children safe.
