Incorporating learned skills from a fifth generation custom bookbinder, combined with the use of the finest quality materials, Leather Craftsmen has been proudly producing wedding albums for close to 60 years.
With album styles ranging from very traditional through contemporary to completely avant-garde, we are able to satisfy the wide range of photographic expressions that exist today. All of our album styles are hand crafted, and with the exception of the 400 series, covered in genuine leather.
Founded in 1942 by our still active CEO, Morris Schneider, Leather Craftsmen began making it's time honored library bound 300 style flush mount series in 1945. A few years later, we added our most popular custom library bound 800 style matted album.
Morris' nephew, Morty Schneider, began working at Leather Craftsmen after being honorably discharged from the Navy in 1945. Morty became President of the company in 1973 and is responsible for creating the foundation of our customer service philosophy. Morty remained President until his untimely passing in 1990. His son, Howard took over for Morty and has been the company's President ever since.
With manufacturing facilities based in New York and California, Leather Craftsmen is recognized by discriminating photographers as the premiere wedding album maker throughout the United States and abroad.
