Don't let the tattoo fool you; I'm really a very sweet guy. I am a devoted single parent of a fifteen-year-old girl (good kid!). I am trying to finish up grad school so that I can get a "real" job teaching. I enjoy reading, movies, camping, hiking, and spending time with my daughter. I'm originally from NYC, but am now transplanted into the country. I'm well-read, laid back, and people tell me I have a good sense of humor (whatever that means). I'm happy being single, but wouldn't mind getting to know like-minded individuals. I'm a six foot tall four-eyes with an average build (for my age); I have blue eyes and brown hair and a well groomed goatee.

I'm looking for someone who is a single parent like myself because I feel that only a single mom can understand the devotion that a child requires.
