I'm the type of person who likes to save the best for last so the following is probably going to sound negative although if you knew me, you would agree that I am the most positive. optimistic & uncomplicated person in your life. I do have a romantic, cherishing & nurturing side but it's better to find out the 'not so good' aspects about me first rather than later. That way, there are no surprises later on, no finger pointing & accusations 'but you said you were this & you are turning out to be that'. This is who I am. I choose to be picky because forever is a long time. If you like long walks on a sandy beach by moonlight lovingly gazing into each other's eyes, you are not for me. If I love you, I can gaze into your eyes any time I want to & who the hell wants to tempt fate by walking on a sandy beach with only the light of the moon to guide your way. Puhleease! Besides, I can think of far better ways to spend that time (take your minds out of the gutter!) Do I dance? Sure, if you enjoy getting stepped on. I inherited my father's two left feet. How about candlelit dinners? Great but have you ever tried to get candle wax out of anything? Like pulling teeth from a chicken. If you already have kids, fabulous but if you want more, you are definitely not for me. Rabbit died years ago & stayed dead. Not only did it die, I buried it & then buried the shovel I buried it with. Hangups & baggage - yes, I hang up my clothes & use baggage when I travel. I don't have any baggage because of any past relationship & would hope that you don't either. I'm very down to earth, practical & speak my mind when it's warranted. I'm old enough to know better & young enough to go for it. My roommate says that it's like living with Bob Hope in skirts- keep 'em laughing. And yes, I do believe that laughter is the best medicine.

I want what most of us want - to find a soulmate. Easier said than done but it can happen. I don't look or feel 49! I like police officers. I'm told they have alpha personalities. Didn't know what that meant but they are people too & like everyone else, want to be happy. So if there's a cop out there who likes what he sees & reads, drop me a line.
