I've been accused of being an enigma and it's probably true. I seem to have the ability to switch from being extroverted to somewhat of a homebody. I can honestly say I enjoy both modes. For example, I can spend the day talking with 100 different people where I volunteer or talk in front of people at work and then come home and spend hours watching film noire and hanging out with my pets and not having that need to "go out." On that note, I will admit my love for exploring interesting places to eat in the bay area. Oh, and you will never see me watching a sitcom. I don't get the laugh track concept. Traditional roles are completely unimportant to me as I really like to cook and bake. I would also have to say I'm not into organized religion so agnostics are a breath of fresh air. Last year I reached a long-time goal of owning my own home and I'm still getting used to the payment but extremely glad I did it. I don't feel as locked down as I thought I would and planned ahead so I can still travel, etc.

I'm definitely attracted to intelligent women with a dry and/or sarcastic sense of humor. Not sure where I picked that up but it's a big one for me. I also tend to appreciate anyone who isn't afraid to discuss the issues of the day (like the news) EVEN if we don't agree. I'm always skeptical of those couples who say they never have debates. I can't come up with anything more boring and can only imagine what doesn't go on in their minds. Oh, if you hate cats or dogs, I'm probably not your guy. I find animals to be quite amazing and don't see myself living without them.
