Or, in other words, live like you get just one more day. I'm a English major, as you can tell by this riveting intro. I have one more year to go, then it's off to grad school. So I've always reading something, from the NY Times to Victorian lit to the back of the Lucky Charms box. I'm also a big movie fan, especially oldies and foreign films. I love TCM. But I also like silly stuff too, like American Pie part 16 or whatever they're up to now. :) I'm one of those bleeding heart liberal types, so shoo, Ann Coulter! Things that rock my world: kindness, caring, spirituality without the dogma, cooking, chocolate, Red Hot Chili Peppers, slow kisses that stop time, comic books, NPR, my iPod, writing, the ocean, roller coasters, my blog, and countless others... I have two wonderful children, one of whom lives with me. (10 year old). Consequently, I'm equally comfortable with restaurants that either have a wine list or a ball pit. Sadly, they never have both, which I think is a shame. I hope someday to teach Lit at the collegiate level. That's my big goal. I would love to get paid to share my passion for books. I love to write, especially on my blog. I love to travel and experience new cultures. I don't get to as often as I would like, but I did get to experience the trip of a lifetime last year when I visited Egypt. Ask me for pictures sometime! :) I'm not so much a sports kinda guy. I can open jars. Is opening jars a sport?

I'm looking for someone who is curious and positive towards life... who enjoys it despite all the crappy stuff in the world. Life is fun... if you want it to be. Being comfortable in your own skin is a sexy thing. It's not so much about body measurements--it's a state of mind. Own yourself, love yourself...that's a powerful aphrodisiac. A sense of humor is great, and, well, necessary, actually. Sometimes it's either laugh or cry your eyes out. :) I am looking for that special connection, which I suppose is what we are all looking for. However, I'm not in a hurry and I'd be happy getting to know somebody cool just over e-mail. Seeing as how I'm in Idaho and most people, um, aren't, lol, I realize that my ideal match might live elsewhere. I have no problem with just exchanging e-mails and seeing where it goes.
