Hmmm... so you want to know something about little ol' me, huh? Well, very shortly I will be turning 30. *gulp* Thirties have to got to be better than the twenties, right? A little over a year ago I moved back to my hometown area, to a small town just outside where I grew up. I am living in a fabulous little house built in 1952, which happened to belong to my grandparents. It is a little dream come true, but it requires a lot of work to keep it up. I spend a great deal of time working in the yard and restoring the inside. I guess I am your average, single, hard-working, fun-loving gal. I have not found my calling in life, so I am currently searching for a new job that will inspire me, or at least pay me more money. ;o) I have a degree in computer graphics and animation, which I would love to use, but unfortunately there is NO industry for it where I live. I had my own web design business before I moved back here, but it was very difficult to keep my head above water with it. Too much stress. I would love to be self-employed and doing something that makes me really happy. But I guess that is everyone's dream, right? I am really close with my mom, she is my best friend. She is recently remarried to a wonderful man, who gave me a step-brother, who recently made me an Auntie. My father also recently remarried and my step-mother brought in two fabulous step-sisters. I feel really blessed in my family life. I have a few really close friends, and I find as I get older, that is all I really need. One of my best friends passed away on Easter this year, due to brain cancer. It was very sudden and very hard to deal with. I still miss her a great deal. As far as my romantic life, well, there isn't much of one right now. I haven't met the right man yet, but really, I am not looking. I am not in any hurry to get married, who knows if I ever will? I like who I am and where I am in life, and if a fabulous man happens to come along, then that will be the icing on my cake of life.
