I love walks by the river, the feeling of the sun on my back on a cool day, the smell and sound of dry leaves in the fall, painfully blue sky with billowing white clouds, the smell of hemlocks, fine food, camping, stimulating conversation, the rising of the sun, the running of the deer and much more… I am outgoing and intelligent. I am told that I am a handsome man who is gentlemanly and caring. I have sandy brown hair, a mustache, and blue eyes, stand 6’1" and weigh in at 175 lb. I am health conscious but not a nut about it. I am a freelance journalist, photographer, and member of several professional organizations. I am an outdoorsmen, competitive marksman and archer, who is very visual and sensual. I love lots of touching, hugging, and kissing… I like looking at all sides of an issue and can easily "walk a mile in another man's shoes." I take this kind of magnanimous outlook in relationships and try to be a pleasure to deal with in the give and take of affairs of the heart. In my ideal world, I love to be loved and lusted after, although I may initially do so from a safe distance (at least internally). Talk about teasing! Even so, in a relationship, I can alternate between being the dependent and dominant partner, based in part on what my sense of fair play tells me. Above all, I would rather not argue with my lover, preferring instead to talk things out in the hope of achieving sybaritic harmony.

As for the qualities that I am seeking... I want a loyal, honest, loving, pretty, attractive, compassionate, sexy woman that I can share my life with. We have to connect on the intellectual, emotional, and physical level. I like to receive and need to give a lot of physical contact! I want someone who will take a stab at liking the things I like and with whom I can reciprocate. I want someone that understands that sometimes men get caught up in the world and has the courage to pull me under her blanket and remind me who is important. I want someone who wants "us" to be a team... I will be someone she can depend on when she is hurting or troubled. My hand will always be extended and looking for hers. I like independence in a woman... she needs to be her own person... have her own ideas... part of "our team". She will be someone whom I will always respect and care for... forever.
