I like people who are sincere with themselves and with others. Life is too full of hypocrites and people who are dishonest. I try not to be one of those - so it's important to know that I am a big girl - body wise. I am fond of life, but tired of having no one to share it with. I am very sensitive although sometimes I can seem gruff, or even arrogant - basically, I don't like showing my emotions too much. But I am capable of loving dearly, and it's a matter of giving me the chance to do so. I like books... although I don't have enough time to read... but if I had more time, I would definetely be reading more. I like latin american writers especially, in particular magic realism. I also like political writings. When it comes to music, well... being inclined towards anything hispanic, I love latin music, but I also am of East Indian origin, and coming from an island east of Africa... my tastes in music are as divergent as I am. I have some broadcasting experience and I am truly interested in anything to do with images... when I watch a film, I also pay attention to style... the shots, the cinematography and photography, but very modestly so. I am no expert. Currently I teach Spanish in a private school and I am enjoying it although I don't think this is what I will be doing for the rest of my life. I aim to leave my country and then I will decide... I am adventurous and I love foreign cultures... therefore finding someone abroad for me would be ideal.

Someone who is true... who doesn't put on pretences and who doesn't judge books by the cover, or by the first few pages. Someone who's open to others and who can compromise - that is, who's not selfish. Someone who's easy going and easy to please. The ideal person would also have to be someone who's not from my side of the planet. I would like someone completely different so that I have loads to talk and share about.... different experiences and so on. I think it's important for the mystery and magic to last as long as it can.
