I am the sum of Genetics, Education, Life and Career experience, the prime driving force being Imagination. I am Scottish by birth (I drink dry red wine to match my humor) and have been a Canadian Citizen for many years. I almost anti-religious, however, I do follow the “path of least resistance”. My career has taken me to much of Europe, Americas, Arctic, where I have had business, project, people and environment responsibi lities My personal agenda, “to understand” has taken me around the Globe and introduced me to many pleasant and unpleasant aspects of people and place. A few years ago I opted out of the corporate environment to enjoy an uncomplicated life, and now spend the summers in Ontario, and winters traveling/relaxing, “La dolce fare niente“. I am a minimalist attempting to avoid pretension (yeah, right!), ergo, I travel 2nd class (as am Scottish !), striving to reduce consumption footprint. I also gave up driving and travel via foot, bus, train and ships, with air being the last choice. Too many bush flights over the years. The result of my years of living research is the much sought after Serenity, full of clichés and mantras. I studied Engineering in Scotland, however, I have touched on multiple courses/disci lines/schools to address personal education interests.
