I'll keep it farely short. I've suffered from social anxiety since puberty, as far as i can remember. I've miss out on a lot of oppurtunities in life by letting my fear run my life. I turned to alcohol and drugs to block my irrational social fears. I thought that i had my solution! It was in AA meetings that i learned that social anxiety was my core problem for most of my misery in life and no amount alcohol and drugs was going to change that. So i now know i have to face this head on if i\'m going to have any piece of mind in my life.OK enough of the self pitty. This is my first time reaching out to others that share my social fears, until today i thought it was only me that had some of these feelings. I have never met another person with these affictions and i look foward to shareing experiances and solutions. Oh yeah, for any women, i'm 6'2 200lbs athletic(dispite my unhealthy past)attrac tive,...and shy :)
