Most people I meet think that I have an extremely interesting life and I suppose they're right. I'm a 24 year old American, living and playing professional basketball in Angers, France. I really like Europe. I wouldn't go as far as to say that I prefer it over the states, but French culture seems to be more friendly and laid back overall, which suits my personality. It's definitely a good thing that I like living here because my season is really long. It lasts from August until June and I only get back to the states for a few days over Christmas. The professional lifestyle is pretty wide open. If you have the talent, focus and work ethic to get over here and stick around, European clubs really take care of you. You end up with the means to do pretty much whatever you want while you're here. Some guys live fast and out of control, some save up a lot of money, and some do a little of both. I try to keep myself in the second category, but I do get out every now and then to let loose. Clubs pay all your bills, provide you with an apartment and a car, as well as hooking you up with a nice salary. When I'm having a bad day, I can still smile about getting paid to visit Europe. The only downside, and it's a pretty big one, is that my personal relationships suffer to varying degrees. I still keep in touch with my family and close friends regularly, but it's pretty much impossible for me to have a normal relationship with someone from the states, which can really suck at times. So here's the rub, I've traded a normal life back home, filled with my loved ones and the possibility of meeting someone special, for the opportunity to live a dream, playing professional basketball and trying to come up in Europe. Here I am, by myself, playing hard, living easy, and trying to come up in France.

I'm looking for someone intelligent, beautiful, fun to be around, and hopefully tall like me.
