Part teddy bear, part geek, someone that needs the diversion to quit being a workaholic. I look and act younger than I am and have varied interests from eclectic and citified to backwoods rustic. I am spontaneous but, at this point, trying to live life by a plan. Equally at home cuddling on the couch by the fire doing the tube or a book, out on the town, on the ski slope or fishing, or being the home handyman.` I'm a what you see is what you get kind of guy, enjoy outdoors non-competitive recreation (fishing, going for a walk or easy bike rides…) or just hanging with a good book. With the exception of the Olympics, I don’t understand being emotionally invested as a spectator. Being happy, good company, humor and a pleasant place to be are major ingredients. I like privacy but want to share; my life seems to lack direction without that. I love to cook and drink good wine or Scotch. Sharing and entertaining this with friends and/or family are how I create my social moments. I’m quite a romantic in some ways and too stand-offish in others, but I think PDA’s are as important monogamy and honest communication. I'm religious but anti dogma; I've found my own way to a deep spiritualism. I'm a big picture liberal with conservative bent. Life is to be shared and politics are supposed to be by ALL the people for ALL the people and …; not of the elite or telling others how/what/when; beliefs are deep seated and individual.
