Once the membership is up and running like we hope it would be very soon.
First we are planning on putting a ad in a local paper for starters with just our website name, second we are planning on getting business cards with info about our website and passing them out to friends and local clubs, third we plan on putting our website name on our vehicle so people can look at our site, that is going to cost about $25 which is pretty cheap and it will last for ever and a great promotion.
Very good and ligitimate way of promotion James & Sharon. But keep in mind that majority of visitors come from Internet and it is very good to promote your site in Internet. Since your site is oriented to Texans, it is of course a very good idea to promote it within your local area. We, on our side, will help you promote it in Internet, we'll place links and work on more reciprocal links for you.
But stay away from mass submission programs and don't place too many affiliate links on your site - it may ruin your hard work.
